1. One in every four women will experience domestic violence in her lifetime
2. An estimated 1.3 million women are abused by an intimate partner each
    year.
3. In 2007 alone, 25% of all homicides were related to domestic and  
    intimate partner violence.
4. In 1992, there were 2 arrests made for violation of a protective order. In
    2007, there were 3,138.
5.  85% of all domestic violence victims are women.
6. Most cases of domestic violence are never reported to the police.
7. Historically, females have most often been abused by someone they knew.
8. In 70-80% of intimate partner homicides, no matter which partner was killed, the man had physically abused the woman before the murder.

This is for anyone who has ever felt beaten down, there is hope. There is a strength inside of all of us,and when you think you can't go on, say a prayer, and dig down deep and you will find what you need.
