Because of you, I had to save myself.
Because of you I found the strength.

Because of you I found, I can do anything at all,
so glad to be out of your clutches, and so
grateful for having to take that fall.
I am so proud of what I have become and
the great thing about it is; I have only just begun!

Your life seems kind of miserable,
no peace yet have you found.
The world spins on an axle, and
all things come back around.

Because of you I love my animals,
they are always patient and kind.
Because of you, I now have no regrets,
for what I left behind.

The road was long, and for awhile,
it seemed to be all uphill, but
my wings grew back, and now I fly,
with nothing but time to kill.

The answer to your finding peace is easy,
I could probably tell you how.
My healing though is not that complete,
and so you will just have to figure out how.

This is for anyone who has ever felt beaten down, there is hope. There is a strength inside of all of us,and when you think you can't go on, say a prayer, and dig down deep and you will find what you need.

It is not optional, otherwise you have let him, and them win.
