REAL MEN DON'T HURT WOMEN THERE IS HOPE !!!

Below, and to follow are some of the most recent Domestic Violence Fatalities, all in my immediate area and all absolutely preventable.

As always, they rated immediate news coverage, and then nothing more is heard, or done. Not until the next innocent, unprotected, victim dies and earns her place on the front page.

Life is worth so much more than that...the path of destruction is widespread, and so very sad. The victim, then the children, the witnesses, the family members.

My oldest daughter went to work one evening two weeks ago where one of these deaths occurred. She will be forever traumatized by the actions of the beater, up to the look in the womans eyes as she uttered her last words.

All the years I ran from my abuser, to save my life, and to save my daughters from being exposedto the the horrifics of Domestic Violence, and it still found a way to strike out and cause pain.

There seems to be no escape until laws are seriously changed, and then enforced. Until then I share these stories with all who will read, and pray for the safety of all the women stuck in a terrible relationship.

This incident is the one my daughter witnessed. Tears streamed down her face as she tearfully re-told the story. "He just kept hitting her momma, he never said a word, he just kept hitting her.

The one below is a direct result of what happens so often, time, and time again. A women asks for help, begs for protection, knows she is in danger-but is refused what she asks for due to "insufficient evidence." Sometimes, as in my case, the evidence is there, documented, but not "recent" enough to be granted a 'protective order.

A women knows when she is in danger, 'evidence' should not be necessary. So often, the "evidence" the courts seek can be found in a casket.

This is for anyone who has ever felt beaten down, there is hope. There is a strength inside of all of us,and when you think you can't go on, say a prayer, and dig down deep and you will find what you need.

It is not optional, otherwise you have let him, and them win.
