"No Other way"

          Through the years she laughed and played,
no one saw the tears she cried.
She hid all the bruises,
except the ones inside.
She found comfort behind her glasses,
learned to hide her fears,
she learned to block the world away,
and to blink away the tears.
He played the part he had to.
no one saw the truth.
Through words that cut deep,
and never healed-
he wasted away her youth.
Her only strength,
she found in her own,
she loved them with
each breath she took.
Still, he found fault in all that she did,
and destroyed her with each look.
For years and years she struggled,
she doesn't struggle now.
She ended the last of many terrible fights'
the only way she knew how.

This is for anyone who has ever felt beaten down, there is hope. There is a strength inside of all of us,and when you think you can't go on, say a prayer, and dig down deep and you will find what you need.

It is not optional, otherwise you have let him, and them win.
